How much is it to sign up?

It's £20 to sign up, this includes the cost of having a professional guide to take you on the walk.

What time will the walk start?

The walk will start from Edale Car Park at 9.45am.

We advise get one of the following trains:

Dep Manchester Piccadilly: 08.49. Arr Edale: 09.32 (please check for times/disruptions)

Dep Sheffield: 08.32. Arr Edale: 08.57 (please check for times/disruptions)

We'll share more detailed information ahead of the event, to those signed up.

What time will the walk end?

The walk will finish around 4.30pm. After this we will head to a pub in Edale for some food & drinks.

Who will be leading the walk?

The walk will be led by qualified mountain leaders with first aid training, liability insurance, and with experience walking on the routes or terrain described. They have also done a full risk assessment, to minise any risks to yourself. Please make sure to bring your lunch, along with any water and snacks needed for the entire day.

What should I bring with me?

A full kit list will be provided once signed up - you will also need to your lunch, along with any water for the entire day and snacks to keep you going.

Will I need to do any training?

Yes - this will be a challenging walk and we would advise all participants to do several training walks over hilly terrain to ensure they are capable of completing the distance on the day. There is a chance the conditions will be soft under foot, making the walk even more challenging.
