Carter Jonas Pedalthon + Walkathon 2020

I'm raising money to support young homeless people

I am taking part in the Carter Jonas Virtual Pedalthon + Walkathon to raise money to help support young people who are homeless.
The Covid-19 crisis has had an immense effect on all of us, on our daily lives, our businesses, our sense of security. The impact of the pandemic can be felt even more acutely by the young people. Shelters are facing new unprecedented difficulties, and many young people who don’t have a home are faced with an all too real threat of rough sleeping.
LandAid bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.
We need your support more than ever, please donate whatever you can.

My Updates

Highland Walkathon

Monday 5th Oct
With the postponement of the 2020 Carter Jonas Pedalathon, I have undertaken my own "Highland Walkathon" challenge to raise money and awareness for Land Aid.

My challenge has involved climbing two iconic Scottish mountains, Ben Alligin (986m) in Torridon and Suilven (731m) in Assynt.

The walks totalled over 30 klms and involved over 2,150m of ascent, with both walks starting at seal level.

The climbs were undertaken on 20th and 23rd September in perfect conditions, each completed in under 7 hours.

Perfect days in wonderful surroundings, but a time to reflect on people less fortunate. I would be most grateful if you would make a donation to Land Aid.

Thank you.
