The LandAid Trek will be hosted in the gorgeous surroundings of the luxurious 5-star Celtic Manor Resort.

On Friday, our pre-event briefing dinner will be hosted at the resort and on Saturday morning, participants will receive packed lunches here and board coaches to our trek starting point.

Following the trek, all participants will return to the hotel for a celebratory dinner to cap off the day's adventures. You are also welcome to use the hotel facilities during your two night stay.

The Celtic Manor Resort is set in 2,000 acres of panoramic parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley, just off the M4 (J24), only 90 minutes from London Heathrow, 45 minutes from Cardiff Airport and Bristol Airport and 5 minutes from the Severn Bridge. It is located close to intercity rail services at Newport, with direct trains to Cardiff, London Paddington, and Birmingham.

By Air

Cardiff Airport is located just 13 miles from J33 of the M4, just half an hour from Cardiff city centre, with good public transport links, taxi and hire car facilities. 

Bristol airport is 32 miles from The Celtic Manor Resort and can be accessed via the M5, M49, and the M4.

Car Parking
The Celtic Manor Resort has extensive parking facilities available to guests and visitors. There are around 1500 car parking spaces across the Resort as well as a Tesla Supercharger Station with over 200 spaces.

By Train

The Celtic Manor Resort is ideally situated and just a short ride from Newport train station.

Great Western Railway operate fast and frequent services into Newport station from London Paddington, Reading, Swindon, Bristol & Avon, Portsmouth Harbour, Southampton, Weymouth and South West Wales.

Connecting services also operate from the Cotswolds, Thames Valley, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the South West.

By Bus

Newport Bus services travel along and nearby Chepstow Road, with the closest bus stop located a short walk from the Celtic Manor Resort.
