WALES TREK
Between Friday 13 and Sunday 15 September, lace up your hiking boots and take on the LandAid Trek across the Black Mountains for young people experiencing homelessness.
With one foot in Wales and one foot in England, this is an opportunity to join hundreds of professionals from across the property and built environment industry and trek along one of the most ancient trails of our time – all in support of LandAid.
All participants are to arrive for a welcome briefing and dinner at the 5* Celtic Manor Resort at 7pm on Friday 13 September. Breakfast will be served at 06:00am sharp on Saturday 14 September, participants will then collect their packed lunch before boarding coaches at 07:00am to leave for the Trek starting point. Once the route has been completed, everyone will enjoy a celebration meal and entertainment in the evening at the hotel. All participants will head home after breakfast on Sunday 15 September.
We have reserved 2 nights twin room* accommodation at the 5* Celtic Manor Resort and participants have the option to stay here or find an alternative. We highly encourage participants of the Trek to consider choosing our ticket option that includes accommodation wherever feasible. This option offers several benefits, making it more convenient and enjoyable for participants. All event briefings are scheduled to take place at the resort, and transportation to and from the event will be coordinated from this central location, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for all attendees. This option includes all breakfast and dinner meals throughout the weekend, allowing participants to fully immerse without worrying about additional costs. Additionally, participants will have exclusive access to the hotel facilities, including two pools, spa, golf club, and various activities.

We spoke to young people and asked them about their experiences of homelessness.
Your support will enable others like them to overcome their struggles.
By taking part in the Trek, you'll be helping people like Toby.
Toby had been moved from his long-term foster family where he had been living with a sibling, into a number of emergency homes...
