Race for LandAid 2026
Terms and Conditions of Participation
By registering for Race for LandAid 2026, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Event Organisation
1. Race for LandAid 2026 takes place on Thursday 11 June 2026 and is organised by Innovation Sports Ltd on behalf of LandAid.
2. Eligibility
Race for LandAid is a family event.
Participants under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
If you are, or will be, aged 65 or over on the date of the event, you must provide a doctor’s letter confirming your fitness to take part before participating.
Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to take part.
3. Health and Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to take part.
If you have any health concerns, you should seek medical advice before participating.
Participants who are not entitled to NHS medical care must ensure they have adequate medical insurance.
By taking part, participants confirm they are in good health and able to participate safely.
If medical treatment is required during the event, every reasonable effort will be made to contact the emergency contact provided. In an emergency where contact cannot be made, you authorise Innovation Sports Ltd and/or LandAid to consent on your behalf to treatment deemed necessary by a qualified medical professional.
LandAid and Innovation Sports Ltd reserve the right to remove any participant if their health, behaviour or safety may place themselves or others at risk.
Participants must follow all instructions given by event staff, volunteers and medical personnel.
4. Personal Responsibility
Participation in Race for LandAid involves inherent physical risks.
By taking part, participants acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their participation.
LandAid, Innovation Sports Ltd and their employees, contractors and volunteers will not be responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
5. Event Changes
LandAid and Innovation Sports Ltd reserve the right to amend the event format, routes, distances or timings where necessary for safety or operational reasons.
The event may also be postponed, modified or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ reasonable control, including severe weather, public safety concerns, venue restrictions or government guidance.
6. Entry Fees
Your place in the event is secured once the entry fee is paid in full at registration.
Entry fees are as follows:
5K Distance – £20 early bird / £25 standard
10K Distance – £25 early bird / £30 standard
Half Marathon Distance – £30 early bird / £35 standard
Child Entry (5K only) – £5
Virtual Race (any distance) – £20 early bird / £25 standard
Entry fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of LandAid. Where possible, LandAid may offer entry transfer to another event.
Where an organisation or individual purchases multiple places (including early bird entries) as part of a group or block booking, those places are non-refundable and must be paid for in full, regardless of whether all places are subsequently filled or used.
It is the responsibility of the organisation or individual making the booking to allocate participants to those places.
7. Transfers and Withdrawals
Participants must notify LandAid if their participation becomes uncertain.
Places may be transferred to another participant up to seven days before the event (4 June 2026), provided the replacement participant is taking part in the same or a shorter distance.
After this date, places are non-transferable.
If you withdraw from the event, it is your responsibility to arrange a replacement participant.
8. Event Cancellation
If LandAid cancels the event, participants may choose to:
• receive a full refund of the entry fee
• transfer their place to another LandAid event
• donate the entry fee to LandAid
Participants will receive written confirmation if the event is cancelled.
9. Fundraising Commitment
By registering for Race for LandAid 2026, participants commit to raising a minimum of £100 for LandAid in connection with their participation in the event.
Participants acknowledge that the minimum fundraising target forms part of the conditions of participation.
Participants are encouraged to activate their fundraising page and begin fundraising as soon as they register, and to raise at least 50% of their target by 23 April 2026.
All sponsorship funds must be paid to LandAid within two months of the event date (11 August 2026).
Entry fees and Gift Aid do not count towards the fundraising target.
10. Fundraising Shortfall
If the minimum fundraising target of £100 has not been reached by 11 August 2026, LandAid reserves the right to invoice the participant for the remaining balance.
Where a participant has been registered by an organisation, LandAid may invoice the registering organisation where appropriate.
11. Fundraising Conduct
All fundraising activities connected with the event must:
• comply with guidance from the Fundraising Regulator and the Charity Commission
• be conducted lawfully and responsibly
• raise funds solely for LandAid
Participants must not run lotteries, raffles or prize draws without obtaining the appropriate licences and prior written approval from LandAid.
12. Sponsorship
Participants must ensure sponsorship money is clearly presented as a donation to LandAid.
If a participant withdraws or does not take part in the event, sponsors may request a refund of their donation. Otherwise, the funds will be retained by LandAid.
Offline donations must be collected using official LandAid sponsorship forms, available on request by emailing race@landaid.org
13. Reputation and Branding
Participants must not use the LandAid name or logo in connection with fundraising or promotional materials without prior permission.
Participants must not undertake fundraising activities that could bring LandAid into disrepute.
LandAid reserves the right to withdraw a participant’s place in the event if their conduct risks damaging the charity’s reputation.
14. Photography and Filming
Photographs and video footage may be taken during the event by LandAid, Innovation Sports Ltd or authorised partners.
These images may be used for promotional, marketing and communications purposes.
Participants who do not wish their image to be used should contact:

15. Data Protection
Participants confirm that the information provided during registration is accurate.
Participant data will be processed in accordance with the LandAid Privacy Policy.
Innovation Sports Ltd may process participant data for the purposes of delivering the event.
16. Accessibility
Participants with disabilities or accessibility requirements should notify LandAid in advance so appropriate support can be provided where possible.
17. Dogs
Participants wishing to take part with a dog must ensure that the dog:
• is on a short, handheld, non-extendable lead
• remains under control at all times
Hands-free or harness leads are not permitted.
18. Agreement
By registering for Race for LandAid 2026, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
Participants are encouraged to retain a copy of these terms and conditions for reference.
