The St. Modwen Charity Run for LandAid 10k and 5k

Thursday 26 September 2024

It's time to lace up those running shoes again... we're back and with a brand new route for 2024!

The LandAid Charity Run in the Midlands returns, this year with a brand new route taking in the newly-opened footpaths and cycle routes of the West Longbridge trail, set within the beautiful natural surroundings of the River Rea corridor.

Bringing together the natural beauty of the river trail with a chance to stride around the former home of the iconic MINI car before returning to Longbridge town centre, this year's event offers both an accessible 5k route along mainly flat terrain as well as a more gruelling 10k taking in the notoriously hilly Cofton Park for those who are up for the challenge!

Whether you choose to jog, walk or run, join us in Longbridge on Thursday 26 September for this much-loved fixture in the Property industry calendar and help us end youth homelessness in the UK.

All funds raised will be donated directly to LandAid, and will be used to support charities like Newark Emmaus Trust - LandAid's current charity project in the Midlands.

As a participant you will receive a runner's pack, medal, the chance to win an event trophy in several categories, tonnes of networking oportunities, food and drink in our bustling event village and of course good feelings for helping a local homelessness organisation - all for just taking part!

Everyone is also invited to stay on after the run to network and join the after party at Herbert's Yard, featuring live entertainment and feel good vibes.

Over the past 6 years we have raised over £250,000 for LandAid, positively impacting the lives of young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Midlands. Every £152 raised could fund a safe place to sleep for one month, so join us in supporting this vital cause and together we can make a real difference.
