All funds raised at the Manchester SleepOut will go towards a Salford Foyer project supporting young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the North West.
LandAid’s Manchester SleepOut will fund the creation of desperately needed homes for young families (under 25s with children) who are, or who have experienced homelessness.
6 brand new high-quality modular units, with enough space for a baby or young child, will be constructed in the car-park of Salford Foyer site.
These units will be aimed at young parents and families referred to the service.Young parents will live in the properties for up to 2-years before moving into more independent living.
Each resident will have an assigned support worker to develop their support plan - identifying strengths and areas for development, including parenting skills, health and wellbeing, education and training and community involvement.
All funds raised at the Manchester SleepOut will be directed towards this project, creating homes that are in high demand, and vitally needed.

About the evening
By attending the LandAid SleepOut you will gain a small insight into the conditions faced by thousands of young people across the UK every single night. During the event you will hear from the charities and young people that LandAid support.
The events will be open to the elements, so please do come prepared. Throughout the evening we will be serving hot drinks and snacks, but we do ask you to eat a hot meal prior to coming.
