Following the success of last year's South West Tag Rugby Tournament (raising over £6,000), we are back, bigger and better than ever!
LandAid South West is supporting 1625ip with the renovation of 20 bedspaces across 6 properties in their portfolio. Higher quality accommodation and environments can often result in better outcomes for
young people, as well as their wellbeing, in their journey out of homelessness.
The tournament is open to all ages and fitness levels. Tag rugby is an entirely contact-less sport - there’s no tackling and zero-tolerance on contact. All teams must be mixed (with at least three female and three male players on the pitch at any time).
Find photos from last year's tournament here.
- Mixed teams of 10 (7 players + 3 subs) to compete with an entry of £500 per team.
- Each organisation has their own team page, and for each additional £100 raised, that team starts every round with an extra Try.
- Takes place on Wednesday 27 September 3:30pm-6:00pm at Cotham Rugby Club.
- Team entry will include food provided post-tournament, spectators can also purchase additional food tokens on the day.
- Tourmament concludes with refreshments at the Cotham Rugby Club bar, networking and prizegiving.
Promo codes are available should you wish to register a team and pay via invoice. Please contact Katie.Stephenson@landaid.org for further information, or if you have any questions about the event.
