LandAid SleepOut unites the industry to help in our aim to end youth homelessnessness
In cities up and down the UK, we bring together the property and wider built environment for a night of sacrifice, and networking, whilst raising vital funds for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
To date, SleepOut has raised over £3 million pounds, helping countless young people to find safe accomodation and a place to call home.

Our History
In 2018 LandAid held its inaugural sleepout, taking place in Old Spitalfields Market in London. An unprecedented success, we saw its potential, and it 2020, we held a SleepOut Series with three events in three cities across three consecutive weeks (no mean feat!).
In 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to change our plans, and held a virtual SleepOut, inviting people to sleep out at home. 600 people accepted the challenge and raised over £440,000.
In 2022 we returned with an ambitious plan – a hybrid event, incorporating six nationwide venues alongside a SleepOut at Home option, all taking place on the same night. 800 property professionals participated in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, and Manchester, with almost 100 people taking part virtually from their own homes. At final count, the event raised almost £590,000 (£90,000 above target!) and gained extensive property media coverage.
In 2023 we retained the hybrid model and welcomed a team in Glasgow to our first SleepOut in Scotland. Over 1300 property professionals participated from 185 companies.
In 2024, we followed the same model as the 2023, with a focus on enhancing the experience for participants across the UK, resulting in our biggest event to date.
Looking ahead to 2025, we aim to continue the growth of our SleepOut event, by introducing our eighth physical event location and have an ambitious taregt to raise £1 million to support many youth homelessness organisations. The SleepOut has fast become a national fixture in the property calendar and we would love to welcome you to an event soon!
