I'm taking part in the LandAid SleepOut 2026

On Thursday 5 March 2026, I will be taking part in the LandAid SleepOut to raise vital funds for young people without a safe place to call home.

In 2023/24, nearly 118,000 young people approached their local council because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness. Behind every number is a young person facing not only the threat of homelessness, but also the growing impact of the cost-of-living crisis and the mental health challenges that come with it.

Young people need our support more than ever.

LandAid brings the property industry together to fund charities providing life-changing services — from safe accommodation to mental health support - for those who are, or who have been, homeless.

By donating, you can help bring a young person in from the cold this winter and give them the chance of a brighter future.

Why I'm Sleeping Out to End Youth Homelessness

Thursday 8th Jan

For the past three years, I’ve volunteered with Nightwatch in Croydon—meeting people every week in Queen’s Gardens who are navigating the harsh reality of homelessness. These conversations have really opened my eyes to the reality of homelessness in the UK, making the numbers real, the nights colder and the crisis impossible to ignore.

 

That's why on Thursday 5 March 2026, I'm joining the LandAid Sleepout to stand in solidarity with young people experiencing homelessness and to raise funds that help to provide safe spaces, support and a way forward. I'm proud to be doing this with some of my colleagues from Hollis and 100% of the funds I raise will go directly to LandAid. If you're able to donate, no matter the size, you'll be helping give young people the stability and opportunity they deserve.

 

My goal is to raise £206, which could help fund a bedspace for six weeks through LandAid's Capital Grants Programme - Thank you for your support!
