I'm taking part in the LandAid SleepOut 2026

On Thursday, 5 March 2026, I will be taking part in the LandAid SleepOut to raise vital funds for young people without a safe place to call home.

Sleeping on the streets is something no one should ever have to experience. Spending even one night exposed to the cold, noise, uncertainty, and vulnerability that rough sleepers face every single day is difficult to imagine, let alone endure. It’s even harder to think about young people many the same age as our own relatives, siblings, or those just starting out in life having to survive without safety, stability, or support.

LandAid brings the property industry together to fund charities providing life changing services, from safe accommodation to mental health support, helping young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness find the stability they deserve.

By donating, you can help bring a young person in from the cold this winter and give them the chance of a brighter future.

As an added personal challenge and as a small reminder of the resilience shown by those facing homelessness I’ll be taking part in the SleepOut while fasting for Ramadan. It adds another layer of difficulty but also purpose. My challenge is nothing compared to the realities young people experiencing homelessness face every day, but I hope it helps raise awareness and support for the vital work LandAid is doing.
