SleepOut 2025

On Thursday 27 February 2025, I am taking part in the LandAid SleepOut to raise money to help support young people who don't have a place to call home.

In 2022/2023, nearly 136,000 young people approached their council as they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The cost of living crisis has had an immense effect on all of us. This has been felt even more acutely by young people facing homelessness. Reports from the charities that LandAid support have mentioned that they're facing not only a homelessness crisis, but a mental health one too.

Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever.

LandAid bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.

Your donation will help bring young people in from the cold this winter.

My Updates

My raw and vulnerable reason for taking part

Thursday 6th Feb
Between the ages of 16-18, I lived in supportive accommodation at the Frome Foyer, YMCA Mendip & South Somerset.

I received a support worker called James and who taught me how to cook healthy meals, budget my income, help with my A-level studies all whilst providing mediation back to my family.
This place of 'home' provided a foundation to continue college, complete exams and go onto university to start my career towards becoming an Architect.

Since my first sleep out in 2022, I share my story as testament to how your donation can really give a positive impact to a young person facing, or at risk of facing homelessness.
Now a Project Architect at DMWR, I am passionate about giving back to our communities, where we give everyone an equal opportunity to support that would allow anyone to jump onto their desirable career journey.

I'd really appreciate your donation. Thanks!
