I'm taking part in the LandAid Trek
On Friday 18 September, I’ll be taking part in the LandAid Trek 2026.
In the UK, every 4 minutes a young person becomes homeless. Last year alone this equated to nearly 118,000 16-25 year olds.
That’s why I’m lacing up my boots and trekking to raise vital funds for LandAid, the property industry charity with a powerful mission: to end youth homelessness in the UK.
LandAid unites the property industry to support charities providing life-changing services to young people facing, or at risk of, homelessness.
My goal is to raise £800, which could help fund a safe place for a young person for five months.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Please support me in raising as much as possible for this crucial cause. Together, we can give young people the brighter future they deserve.

95 Miles to Go… and Counting! 🥾
Saturday 22nd Aug Training for the LandAid Trek is officially underway! It hasn’t been the smoothest of starts. A recent injury meant I had to take things a little easier than planned for a while, frustrating when I was keen to get the miles in, but thankfully I’ve been able to keep moving, and build things back up.
And the legs are definitely starting to notice! 😅
I’m now averaging around 7 miles walking a day which is the normal routine, managed 10 miles last weekend, and today I’m heading out to take on a training trek along the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Plenty of hills and a useful reminder of what I’ve signed myself up for!
There are approximately 95 training miles still to cover over the remaining weeks before taking on the 40 km / 25-mile LandAid Trek along the South Downs Way on 18 September.
So there will be plenty more early starts, long walks, hills and increasingly tired legs between now and then.
But it’s all for a brilliant cause. LandAid brings the property industry together to help tackle youth homelessness, which makes every mile worthwhile.
The new hiking boots are on their way, the trekking poles are ready, and I’m slowly running out of excuses… 😂
95 miles of training to go. Then the big 25. Bring it on! 🥾
And, most importantly, a huge thank you to everyone who has already supported and sponsored me it genuinely provides some extra motivation when the legs start asking why we’re still walking!

Congratulations on such a wonderful initiative. I also want to wish you the very best of luck for what will undoubtedly be a tough challenge. In my experience, determination is even more important than physical strength, and you clearly have both. I'm sure you'll achieve it. All the best,
